performance in modern sailing and motor Mega yachts. Performance can be

which will require less diesel power and therefore weight, to achieve equal and
or more performance.
Drawing on experience from Mari-Cha III and Visione, where the
approach to engineering was one of minimum weight.
Which resulted in little
redundancy, and where the main source of energy was
diesel.
Equipment choice being of
paramount importance, which was the result of in depth
research at the design stage.
Lateral thinking resulted in some interesting weight
saving through the use of large titanium components, and
electrical conductor choice.
